A signal nobody sees is not an alert.
The board is where the floor looks. Everywhere else your shop already works — a chat channel, a task board, your own script — is somewhere a finding has to be able to reach.
Two-way, and honest about the order
Two-way means both directions: an event here can start a flow out there, and a flow out there can open a production order, record a receipt or release a hold here.
n8n
Certain rather than planned: the shared platform underneath this product already ships an n8n integration that three sibling products use in production.
Zapier
A trigger and an action, for the thousands of apps we are never going to integrate one by one.
Your own webhook
Signed, with the event and its evidence. The escape hatch, so you are never blocked waiting for us.
Power Automate and Make · planned
Neither is written. They are on the list because shops ask for them, and the order they ship in depends on which shops ask first.
Every action carries a level, and only one of them touches stock
An automation that can do anything is an automation nobody turns on. The useful question is not how many actions there are, it is which of them can change a number you will have to explain later.
Approval is per action and never a blanket switch. A flow authorised to post a message is not thereby authorised to consume a lot.
Blast radius
| Level | Count | Approval |
|---|---|---|
| Informational | 6 | None needed |
| Operational | 3 | Once, per flow |
| Moves stock or cost | 1 | Per action, always |
What is written and what is not
No flow runs in scalebatch today
The engine exists and one sibling product runs it. Here the hook is reserved in the startup and nothing is registered against it.
There is no visual flow editor
And there is not going to be one. That is what n8n is for, and it is better at it than a tab inside a manufacturing product would be.
No SMS, and no phone calls
Deliberately out of scope. A shop floor runs on a screen and a chat channel, and a text message at 2am about a yield band helps nobody.
Tell us what it should connect to.
n8n and the signed webhook are certain. The order of everything else is genuinely undecided, and the shops on the waitlist are the ones deciding it.
